KT 64.32—Last home game of 2064 will feature fan-managed game and 6th annual Iowa Big-Heads Race

It's funny how hardly any writing seems to represent the year 2064. Is it because it's too hard to imagine what the world will be like in 40 years? I mean, compared to 40 years ago, 1985, when we were treated to Back to the Future, which would feature a [spoiler!] flying car at the end and would lead us to 2015 in the first sequel (released 1989)... then there was 1982's Bladerunner, which featured Los Angeles in 2019... and both featured flying cars and we still don't have 'em in the mainstream. Well, some of our visions of the future haven't panned out. The L.A. in Bladerunner is still sick, in this writer's opinion. Some kids today look at that hair dryer in Bladerunner and say they want that, and they are all gaga about something that's actually from 100 years ago, that is, the 1960s.

What do we have today that we didn't have in Back to the Future 2 or in Bladerunner? Hmmm, let me ask AI: okay, so "wearables," smartphones, and voice assistants; yet I don't consider the last one to be all that special. Social media, cloud computing, E-commerce, CRIPR gene editing [I think in today's Iowa there are some cutting edge genetics companies], robotic process engineering, sex robots, porn-on-demand, solar and wind power. I dont have a great imagination, and even when I ask ChatGPT to envision activities for fan appreciation day of 2064...its suggestions seem stale: holograms, legendary AI pitchers, drone sky show, adaptive robot coaches, compostable concessions, quite zones, multiple language support...nano-merch, digital collectibles, 2064 time-capsule ceremony, fan-coached inning...

Wait what?
Off Topic
For one inning, fans vote in real time (via stadium app) on batting order tweaks, defensive shifts, or even a pinch hitter—coaches must honor the choice.
Okay, that sounds fun, although it smacks of 1980s technology! So, yeah, there we go, so Monday, September 22, 2064, with the team a game back of the last wildcard spot and five contests to go, against the Louisville Sluggers (I can no longer call them the "so-called" Sluggers), the local Kum & Go (i.e., the world's largest convenience store with an attached stadium area for entertainment) will feature

FAN-MANAGED GAME
(and why not, because half the time the OOTP software doesn't do what I want it to anyway)

"Every decision—lineup, substitutions, defensive shifts, even pitching changes—is voted on by fans in real time through the team’s app or AR glasses." We will also compare the fans' choices to the coaching staffs' would-be directives and see if Joe Q Public ought to be hired for 2065. Select Israeli anti-hacking technology will prevent malfeasance. ChatGPT is listing all kinds of security features and blah blah but I don't want to copy-and-paste a bunch of boring stuff I don't understand.

For the less tech savvy or leaning folks, we will also have the annual finale of the 7th-inning Stretch Iowa Celebrity Big Heads Race-Off: this year's finalists feature the caricatures of John Wayne, Caitlin Clark, Elijah Wood, and Kurt Warner.

Team doesn’t need a manager so fans should be able to vote on how/when he gets himself tossed. Assuming there are still umpires in 2064.
