"It's just such a magical feeling in the clubhouse this season. Are we a team of destiny? I don't know, but we certainly feel like we are the team to beat this year, and we hope to advance far in to the playoffs... maybe even to the finals."
"There are a ton of good teams standing in our way, though, so we can't let up. It's also good to see all the Liberty guys have a chance to come up and be part of this. And... I just realized I want to be a part of this too, for the rest of my career if I can help it," Jodie said.
Ms. Hanna's new contract will extend through 2067, if options are picked up. She will once again pull down $1.3 mil and be worth every penny. Currently, Jodie sits at 3-1 with a 2.41 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 1.1 WAR in 52 innings pitched.
