Galaxy Gas 2064.51 - Prospect Spotlight - Rich Holley
With the season in the lower level leagues being over, it is time to look at a few of the prospects. One prospect that is not very ratings heavy at the moment but had a good stat line this year is second baseman Rich Holley. Rich was selected in the 16th round of the 2063 draft.
In his second season Rich spent time playing DH, second base and right field over the season. In 117 at bats the 20-year-old hit for an average of .342 and had an on-base percentage of .422. Included in his 40 hits were 11 doubles but there was not much power beyond those numbers. That was good for a WAR of 0.8 on the season.
While Rich put together some good numbers in his second season at Russelville, his mediocre ratings in the eyes of the scouts puts him on the bubble of getting moved up to the Short Season A squad in Saturn next season.
