Molina hails from Temuco, Chile, where his father is a conductor working out of the Temuco Train Station, but little Jesús always wanted to be a baseball player like his idol, Julio Barajas. However, he quickly learned he was a better pitcher than hitter and devoted countless hours into perfecting his craft. He was noticed by a Nashville scout on vacation after another Monty victory in 2062 and brought back to America to join the Bluebirds' IC.
Molina is a well-rounded pitcher with little flaws aside from being extremely raw. His fastball, splitter, and changeup are all highly rated and he should be able to give at least six innings each outing. His first year of professional ball was forgetful, but there weren't very high expectation for Molina, who was just 17. He will look to improve on his 5.49 ERA in another year at rookie ball in 2064.
