I like polls. I don’t know why folks don’t post more of them.

I think the rules are sufficient on this. You have to get at least 5 votes to get a point, and 11 to get two points. If polls are bad or irrelevant enough, they won't get the necessary votes and they won't get points.

Maybe an alternate solution is to raise the vote requirement, such as 10 votes for a point and 15+ for two points. That might weed out any polls that aren't relevant enough to warrant the required responses.

(This is coming from a guy who once posted a poll entitled "Are Drafts Shitty"... so take with a grain of salt lol)

So, it sounds like all polls are useful and drive engagement on the forums (which we need more of).

Hah, I get it. I've been annoyed for a moment at various times about the polls that don't even require some creativity. But I'd rather they get posted than not. Polls really are our second best discussion starter (after Suggestions threads ).

I was honestly annoyed when you beat me to some of them.

I don't poll for the PP. It's nice, but I just enjoy checking the league's pulse. And as Sean mentioned earlier, anything that brings people to the forums is a good thing. Plus we get to laugh when we're all hysterically wrong.

But the whole album is meant to be exaggerated so I was fine with it. I was like... I hope people don't stop making polls or writing lame team news because of this stupid song.

For sure...the line was top of mind (spoiler alert: more album coverage coming in the '64 Media Guide). Seems like points from polls aren't egregious and I like the participation guidelines to act as a check-and-balance against empty calorie polls.
