We're not quite sure how to process an offense that only managed 2 runs/game in Sim #7 (recap). Was it dominating pitching from Austin and Charm City or an offense that faceplanted over 6 games? When you get results this atrocious it's likely a bit of both. Pitching was just not good, allowing 4.8 r/g, but the story just has to be an atrocious offensive showing by the Spuds offense.
SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #7
Pitcher

SP Josh 'Kid' Clark
9 G, 9 GS, 5-1, 3.09 ERA, 55.1 IP, 3.4 K/BB, 1.27 WHIP, +1.6 WAR
The Boise bullpen was solid as stone in Sim #7. CL Mario Santos made 3 appearances converting the Spuds only save opp and allowing only 1 run in 5.2 innings fanning 6. P Yoriyuki Ine allowed just one run as well in 3.2 innings, though he did walk 4 batters, and Máximo Rivera allowed one hit in 2.1 innings. But Kid Clark was the highlight for both Spuds pitching and the Sim in general as he took the bump in game 2 of the Austin series and shutout the Shredders over 7.1 innings allowing just 7 hits while fanning 6.
Batter

1B William Coleman
33 G, 4 2B, 7 HR, 20 RBI, .248/.297/.495, 1 SB, +0.3 WAR
We'll make this quick and painless. While giving due props to 'Jigga' Allison for collecting 4 more stolen bases, we'll go with the batter who delivered the most RBI over the Sim in William Coleman...who had 3.
