Well, sugar, you better sit down and pour yourself something cold, because the Madison Wolves just got a whole lot sweeter.
With the 4th-round pick in this year’s draft, the Wolves proudly selected LF Javier “Sweet Charlie” Sunderland—and if you haven’t heard of him yet, you will soon. He’s the kind of player who shows up early, stays late, and hits baseballs like they owe him money.

For the last three years, Sweet Charlie has been tearing the seams off baseballs for the Burger King Whoppers in the College Conference All-Stars (COL). Don’t let the funny name fool you—this man was flame-grilling pitchers' night after night.

“The draft is a gamble, sugar—but sometimes you see a player and you don’t see risk, you see gold. Javier Sunderland swings like he’s trying to break open a piñata full of fireworks, and I can’t wait to watch him light up Shotz Stadium. Y’all remember the name: Sweet Charlie is comin’.”
Welcome to the pack, Charlie. We’re gonna have fun.
