The Sydney Sharks saw a number of improvements in the first season under new leadership. Sydney's win total increased, as did each of its affiliates'. The farm system entered the season last in the GBC and exits 4th. Revenue improved and the budget received a slight bump.

The Sharks led the GBC in batting average, slugging and OPS. The 20.4 batter WAR was the most by the team since 2056. From the mound, the team's 4.19 ERA was the best since 2054.
