Rename Sim #5

I suggest we put “minor league contract opt out” or some other such reminder into this sim name to help remind GMs they could have minor league signings with major league options to opt out after 30 days. I’ve always found this aspect difficult to remember since the game doesn’t seem to have any mechanism to filter on these players or remind you.

When you have a player's screen open, under ACTIONS (top right) you can choose Create Note.

Alternatively, elsewhere you can also list your entire roster by finances and see who has a 30-day contract

The player note seems like it would still benefit from my suggestion since you need a reminder to go look for those notes. Does the note have a “remind me on this date” type feature?

The Notes page does have a remind me on this date function. You have to remember to set it and then CHECK the notes (which you can also do under the GM "Mail and News" Window). So I agree maybe the easiest thing is to rename the sim. And last year I figured out how to sort my entire organization's roster by contract info (probably using a custom filter) and it showed who had the minor league with major league option but I am afk now so I can't tell you how I did that.

I see in game now that last season I shortlisted all such players in my org.

That's the kind of thing I don't want to have to manually maintain.

Alwell, doesn't seem like anybody else thought this was worth discussing.
