2060-006: Talons Breaking News (Again): Talons Reclusive GM Officially Changes Legal Nickname to 'Talons Workaday GM'

As the Talons prepare for BBA Opening Day in this 'weird' Texas town, another bizarre story has come across the wire.

Mere days after the franchise's GM changed his name to "League Control 1", word on the interwebs today is that he also changed his official nickname, too.

Known for years as the Talons Reclusive GM, the Phoenix boss has revelled in his reputation of having no friends and only speaking up when he has something to complain about. "It's my deal," he said, as his club prepared to face the newly rebranded Shredders. "I am not a social person. Don't like talking to people. In fact, I have half of the Discord sub-forums blocked just so I don't have to see a bunch of random posts."

"I take comfort in my introverted seclusion. It's a defense mechanism," he remarked.

That makes today's announcement even more puzzling. What does Workaday even mean? Does it mean Mediocre? Not Good? Below Average?

"Well, I figure that Workaday means that I actually have a job," he offered. "You know, I actually get up every DAY and go to WORK. You know, work? That concept that Gen Z is so afraid of? Work. Earning money. Getting paid. So hell yeah I am Workaday. I work every day!!"

Jeez this guy is delusional. After a mere 10 seconds of searching, we have found out that Workaday, in the latest BBA vernacular, actually means "fair to middling" or "sorry, try again next year, sport". It also means "don't trade with a good team or you will get hosed," something the Talons GM would be wise to remember.

I mean, this guy actually thinks a 50 POT player with no plate discipline is the best prospect in the BBA. If that isn't Workaday, we don't know what is!
