Las Vegas continued to look far and wide for able-bodied pitchers to add to their staff this offseason, and on January 26th they were able to add veteran righty
Edgar Sosa to the club.
It's a three year deal on paper, but truly a year by year "prove it deal", with the Hustlers holding team option years for 2059 and 2060. Sosa was very effective as a reliever last year, but since coming to the BBA via Manama results have varied.

Edgar has few peers intellectually, but he seldom factors loyalty into his decisions and dogs it too often.
As of this writing, it looks like Sosa will compete for a rotation spot in Spring Training even though the numbers say he'd be best in relief. "I want to start," said Sosa, with an air of condescension that this reporter wasn't quite prepared for. "Listen, I know the game. I know what's best. The fans love me and my God-given ability can't be ignored." Sosa then appeared to blow off Pitching Coach
Elliot Buckland who was attempting to discuss his pre-Spring Training regimen.
"You don't see that every day," remarked a visibly stunned Buckland.
