haney doesnt have the ABs yet, but he would be on top if he did (51.29). Manuel Martinez is 4th with 48.89 but the winner is yancy cravat with 51.26 per 162 games. Joe gets the point for 13, but #12 is still on the board if anyone wants to take a crack at it.

it was pointed out that the data for question #12 was off, so that one has been removed. Will try and post a new one later for everyone.

QUESTION 14: Who is the only offensive HOF player (through the 2042 inductees) to never have a BBA season below 2 WAR?
Wow... Good one. Most guys hang on so long they tank at the end and can't hold a 2.0 WAR.

collins actually had a bad season at the beginning AND the end. Also for this i am using OOTP 21, which does ding the pre-1995 crowd somewhat.

It is interesting to note that Gillstrom might join this club...if he has 2 WAR every year from now on out. He is on pace for 3.1 WAR this season.

he had it thru his age 40 season (in fact got thru that point without having a season below 3.0 WAR), but then he played for 2 more years and ruined it for himself.

The answer to question 14 is Alberto Guzman, the longtime Long Beach 1B/DH who never recorded below 2.3 WAR in his BBA career (although he did finish up in the EBA with a season below that, but it was outside the scope of the question.

digging this back up now that i have some new spreadsheets to play with.

Which BBA player has the most career WAR to NEVER have led the entire BBA (not individual league) in a season?

EDIT: I should say that all of these numbers are compiled using the stats+ leaderboards, which can differ for WAR from the HTML for some unknown reason.

So I looked at the list just to get a feel for some names but didn't look at their individual season by season. Frank Thomas III feels like a decent guess.

it was a decent guess as his best finish was 2nd in 2020 (only time higher than 6th), however he is not high enough on the all-time leaderboard to be the correct answer (and yes i know that narrows it down).
