THE RED ROOTERS
A Riyadh Red Crescent Fan Site
12/17/46, by Omar Khayyam

Surpise spread throught the UMEBA as word leaked late last night that the now former Mumbai Metro Stars general manager Rich Young was spotted getting off a private plane at King Khaled International airport as rumors swirled that he would be taking over as general manager of the Red Crescents. Earlier in the evening Young was reportedly seen hurrying from the Mumbai offices with as one witness put it “a pair of underwear sticking out of his briefcase and looking a bit frazzled.” As talk began to build that Young had left Mumbai, I contacted an anonymous source close to the team who hinted that an outside business deal between Young and Metro Stars owner Donald Little had gone south and that the relationship was damaged beyond repair. “It all happened very fast” the source said.

Then at around 2AM local time the Red Crescents released the following.

***PRESS RELEASE 12/16/2046*** Riyadh Red Crescents
The organization is pleased to announce that Rich Young is now the general manager of the Riyadh Red Crescents. A press conference will be scheduled for Monday, December 18th to formally announce the hiring.

We will bring you the transcripts of the press conference as well as more details as they emerge.

Good luck with the rebuilding! Unlikely for you to repeat as UMEBA champion this year with the massive rebuilding needed, but maybe three to four years from now.... it will be interesting to see how it develops.

thanks Jim, for sure it will take some time but at least I don't have to play Bucharest 33 times. The BURT's no joke either though.
