Rumours have been abound these past few weeks since GM Neil Thomas took over the reigns of the Valencia Stars, would Aaron Haney stay or would he go, well he stayed. There were rumours of other players on their way out, so far though only Toby Hanscombe who was initially lost in the rule 5 draft and eventually traded for catcher Wynn Kennedy as left the organisation barring a waiver claim or two and a handful of releases.

Well rumours are now flying around that the Stars organisation are in for a rebrand in 2046, rumours of the major league team moving from Valencia were squashed when GM Thomas issued a statement.

"Other organisations may feel the need to jump ship and move for more money but the Stars want to repay the loyalty of the Valencia fans, we will be showing our loyalty to the fans by improving the facilities at the Hall of Stars".

The Stars may not be moving but the minor league teams will be if the rumours are true, in fact rumours are that all 5 minor league teams have already accepted compensation packages from the Stars due to the early termination of contracts with Valencia and their affiliates which were due to run until 2050.

Valencia Stars have made it clear there will be no change of location, if the rumours are true and at this moment they are just that rumours but if true a new ballpark would mean staying in Valencia for ten years.

There will be an official announcement in the coming days.

No it was just the name of the pic I downloaded, minor league teams will be moving in time but Valencia will not be moving while I'm GM.
