The Talons threw 10 million dollars for one season at SP Cisco Morales late this past offseason after they found out that Don Smith suffered a setback in his shoulder injury.
Now, with Smith's return mere weeks away, the Talons have announced that Morales will be traded as soon as he is eligible, which according to a friend of the Talons is June 1st, or after next sim. Morales has seen a correction of sorts after his blazing hot start, but still stands at 7-3 on the season (second in the BBA in wins) with a 3.77 FIP and is on pace for another 3+ WAR season. Imagine what he could do with an offense and defense to back him up!
The Talons also have announced that 100% salary retention will be made available in the right deal. This is especially helpful for those teams who are up against the cap but need more starting pitching depth to reach the playoffs. In fact, the Talons are so excited to bring you this (totally unsurprising and predictable) trade block announcement that they made their very own meme to celebrate!
