Phoenix, AZ--

Yeah, this is so bad, the Talons actually have to violate their long-standing "No Team News Articles on Sim Night" rule.

In possibly the most egregious example of franchise ineptitude, the Phoenix Talons were recently informed by a fellow BBA GM that their team, yes, the Talons, actually threw a no hitter.

Two weeks ago.

"Normally we sort of depend on the OOTP news items to let us know that something cool has happened," said intern David Frum of the Talons Electronic Media And Forum Posting Department. "You know, things like Player of the Month, prospects retiring to play professional golf, ace pitchers tearing their labrums, etc."

"But there were no special headlines. I mean, we saw that there were two no hitters in the league that week. But frankly we were more excited about our Single A team scoring 38 runs in a game. But then, we saw in the forum that the Talons indeed won a game without giving up any hits. No way, we thought. Really?"

Frum continued. "So we looked up the game, on April 22nd. And sure enough, three Talons combined to No-Hit the Aviators. Pretty cool, huh? Sure glad that we have friendly GMs to let us know what is going on with our team. Makes my job a hell of a lot easier!"

Have you checked payroll? Are you sure the Talons Electronic Media and Forum Posting Department actually work for the Talons? Actual forum posts would suggest "no."
