Rule 5 Question

I have Arev Yaghian who was a Rule 5 pickup before the 2043 season. He is still listed as Rule 5. Now he spent most of last year on the DL, but he did pitch 6 games in Calgary. Shouldn't he no longer be listed as Rule 5?

I had it with someone too a couple years ago. If he was on the DL most of the year, he has to stay on your roster a bit more. Wish they had the days somewhere. Looking at his injuries, I'd assume his count stopped on the August one (60 day DL) so he shouldn't have much more time left. Maybe a month or so before he can be optioned.

That's right. If the guy goes on the 60-day DL, that stops his rule 5 clock. The idea behind that is to protect the player from being shelved to the DL to keep him from playing.
