The headline during the off-season said this:

Jacksonville received a pair of starting pitchers form the Charlotte Cougar AAA squad this past week. Pitcher Sabir Askeri and Nick Mobley having been added to the Jacksonville fold in exchange for 1B Iván Sosa and 2B John Weber from the AA squad along with RF Brandon Gould from the Rookie team.

Looking at the trade a few months later looks like the Canes have received some short term benefits at least as Askeri and Mobley have both worked their way into the starting rotation.
The numbers on the newly acquired duo while pitching in Jacksonville include:

As far as the players given up, they are working their way through the farm system with Sosa getting some time with the Charlotte club over the last 10 games

As the players develop, the pendulum could start moving in the other direction, but for the 2043 season, the Canes’ faithful are glad that Askeri and Mobley are part of the fold.
