The BBA Today #37 - OOTP v21 and the BBA!

Post by RonCo » Sat May 23, 2020 6:51 pm

I'm super pleased to have the Commish himself, Matt Rectenwald, join me for a great conversation about the BBA's conversion to version 21 of the game. Hear Matt's experience with testing the game, and looking at how this environment will pair with the BBA. We also touch on adjustments that the league will see in the stats engine and player development, and hear some really exciting news about the future of the UMEBA.

Yes, fans, things are always moving in and around the BBA!

Great stuff...exciting! Can't wait to see those environment, development, and draft class changes.

Looking forward to a 20% pay raise as UMEBA Ambassador. :P Congrats to [listen for your damn selves] and his promotion to the BBA!

Does this mean that the UMEBA draft has more rounds in it?

really cool information here. Does anyone know if 21 has a new rating for player development? I know we've always looked at it as some sort of concoction between age, work ethic, intelligence, probably more things, but with that changing were there any additions to randomize it more?

That link leads me to a blank page. Is there another way to get there?

Thanks for all the work that’s been done to get us to this point. There’s never a dull day with the BBA, that’s for sure. One of these days every BBA team will have a “Matt Rectenwald” statue within its environs. Just how can one man’s vision drive this forward all the time?

Just outside Grigg Memorial we're erecting a hedge of Rectenwald topiaries.

I made a v21 recruitment post over at the OOTP Boards.

Please head over, tout the league and help us recruit to fill out the UMEBA expansion and get some guys on the waiting list...thank you!

So much to catch up on in the BBA for me! Really nice to hear from Matt and also to hear about some of the changes being made this offseason. It looks like there are many changes with the UMEBA for me to get used to!
