We Got Wood - 42.40 - Food Bracket Controversy
We've reached the Elite 8 of the BBA's Food Bracket Challenge competition and things are getting heated in the polling. Portland has already broke out the "big guns" by bringing in Kate to help speak on behalf her "Kookies" and things got a little risque during that briefing. Well now, things are turning in another direction as the San Fernando Bears may have just cost themselves the election. It has just been discovered, that in the secret of the night, the San Fernando Bears have RELEASED Jon Reed from their roster. Why is this significant? Because the San Fernando entry was the "Jon Reed Messy Burrito"!!!
Reporters from Portland reached out to Reed today and he spoke with the press.
"I can't believe they'd do this, not only to me, but to the fans of the city and to the integrity of this competition" said Reed. "I've done so much for the city of San Fernando during my playing days. What would it have hurt to have kept me around for a few more weeks in case my food submission could have made it further in the bracket. I was prepared to go on a road tour this week, trying to garner votes for me submission. But having been released by the team, my heart just isn't in it anymore."
This marks the second time in less than a year that the San Fernando Bears have released the beloved player. Last year's move made sense to Reed as the two sides worked out an agreement as to why it was better for his career and in free agency. After joining and being waived by Boise in May, San Fernando claimed the veteran pitcher. Only to release him again this week.
"This one clearly stings and leaves a bad taste in my mouth" said Reed. "Kind of like a messy burrito and cheap, half priced beer. Just a bad taste."
Clearly Reed no longer endorses the Messy Burrito submission. Reed concluded by stating "I've had "Kate's Kookies". All I can say is that they are good and spectacular!"

But based on this you shouldn’t vote for it and cast your vote for a bourbon cookie.

I'm sensing the beginnings of a strong Lumberjacks/Bears rivalry. Does Kate deliver to the Middle East? Asking for a friend.

trust me, the heat of the middle east would melt the cookie. You need something that can stand up to the blazing summer temperatures and can be washed down with an ice cold beverage.lordtoffee wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:50 amI'm sensing the beginnings of a strong Lumberjacks/Bears rivalry. I think you're confused. There was no curry entry in this year's edition but I heard Kevin Hicken's House of Curry in Mumbai is out of this world.
