Not sure if this really qualifies as a team news or where I should put it (since it's not a full blown league or division recap) , it ended up being way shorter once I edited out mistakes and dead air then I planned (about 3:30). But figured it was a good first attempt.

If I do this much more, will probably have to invest in a actual mic.

We made a rule a few years back that team-specific Podcasts can substitute for TN with the exception that you still need at least 4 written items.

Honestly the writing thing is easier and quicker. LOL But gonna try and mix it up a few different times throughout the year. And think audio only will be easier and quicker than video. Podcast will probably become a monthly recap and leave writing for the other news. IDK. Hopefully I can find a nice mix between the two. That's my hope anyway.

Yes, I think the writing is a ton easier. I like the quickie 3-5 minute thing for team news though. I suppose if that were to become a thing we could adjust up a little.

I can't remember exactly what site i used (will look again next time I'm on laptop) but it was a text to voice app. You typed in the words and it said it. I fully expected it sound robotic but it worked pretty well.

Thanks. It's a decent quality gaming headset but it picks up every thing, from the breathing to mouse clicks. Something I'm assuming a directional podcasting style mic wouldn't 'do.
