Re: AFBI '41, Episode 2
I will be so disappointed if I don't hear every one of these topics discussed. That's an incredible memory too if it's an accurate list. I keep imagining a live roundtable with a sidebar for each of these topics like one of those terrible sports talk shows.jleddy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 2:01 pmWithout spoiling too much, the following may or may not have been discussed:crobillard wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 12:26 pmAny bookies carrying prop bets for this one? What’s the over/under on #FreeRaider references? Anything on Amos swallowing innings?

Lol like defending myself would change anything. I'm fine with it though. I like the #FreeRaider meme. The Swallows thing was Atsumori Maeda getting wild. I have an organization pitch cap at 140, no idea how Amos convinced Maeda to keep him out on the mound, but I have some ideas how he did it.

Re: AFBI '41, Episode 2
You can damn sure use that as a checklist because each one was mentioned, if not discussed in some length.crobillard wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 6:14 pmI will be so disappointed if I don't hear every one of these topics discussed. Re: AFBI '41, Episode 3
Yes, Yay! Ted.
FWIW, I don't have any grand idea on which players will bump or won't as I'm drafting. But I do think I know generally how to arrange and manage my minor leagues in the best way to maximize positive development. I personally think that's a bigger deal than the PPT...I've dropped a bazillion PPT on players and can't say that it's obviously a big help--though maybe it staves off negative dev...dunno.
I've drafted several very good players, though--oddly, most of my top picks (#1-10 overall) have not been so good...but I've had many productive picks later in the draft/ Including Aaron Stone, who was an 8th rounder...and, of course, Valle, who was a 4th rounder.

Personality traits are usually what I target in lower rounds. That and individual pitch potentials.
