Landis Trophy Announcement!
Alright, after planning, voting, and substantial consideration, I think I can finally announce the prize going to the winner of the Landis Memorial Trophy each season. Here is how it will work guys.
The winner of the Landis Memorial Trophy Series each and every year will receive a customized commemorative bobblehead trophy, just like the one shown below. This trophy won in an overwhelming fashion.
The runner up for the Landis Trophy will receive the trophy that was voted in as the second favorite trophy. This one will also be customized. It Is pictured below.
I will coordinate with the Landis winner and loser each season as far as shipping these trophies to them and having them created. It would be excellent for our “Hall of Fame” if you were able to take a picture of yourself with the trophy after they arrive.
As a side note, there was a discussion regarding a mini bat also being shipped and sent to the Landis winner each season as a traveling trophy. That discussion is still well flowing, but for the 2040 season has been tabled.
This starts immediately and trophies will be handed out to the 2040 Landis Memorial Series winner and runner up. I also want to state that this is no way, shape, or form changes the fact that this is a free league to participate in. This is something I am just chipping in to create an even better environment and community feel among the members of the BBA.
Good luck to all.

Re: Landis Trophy Announcement!
lmao I thought the "each and every year" quote was acknowledging previous winners. That would be insane, but I thought you might have got some sort of deal. Still, really cool idea. Love that the league is extending beyond our simulated world and forums.niles08 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:41 amnot retroactively? Those are both terrific. Thanks for taking this on! Seems like maybe some special project PP would be in order?

Re: Landis Trophy Announcement!
Tremendous idea, it’s the great GM’s (and of course Matt) that keep me coming back time & time again no matter how far I stray lol. April 2010 I joined this league and I haven’t regretted a moment, every time my health forces me out i pine for it
