Re: Commish Corner 2040.1
Very well done and entertaining. Ironically, my wife and I loooooove Nashville ourselves. We also would love to move there someday.

Re: Commish Corner 2040.1
Couple of things:
1. Very entertaining podcast. Well done, sir.
2. I wholly agree on Nashville. My wife and I go there a lot and we love it, seriously considering it for our retirement.
3. I checked with the boys at South Side Towing and they say a Buick answering the description given by your last caller was, indeed, towed to their Dalton impound lot. It was improperly parked in one of the stadium parking lots. And when I say improperly parked, I mean it was 1). A Buick, and 2). Painted in a truly unfortunate style. Red with yellow pinstripes and a black logo? Disturbing. Oh, and 3). Its right rear tire was impinging on the space next to it by a full 1.3 micrometers. A clear parking violation. Your listener can retrieve his vehicle from impound for the low, low price of $198.98, which covers Vinnie’s costs for towing it.
Thanks again for a most entertaining podcast. Black Sox nation looks forward to the next episode!

Re: Commish Corner 2040.1
This is a perfect addition to the podcasting-frenzy we're seeing lately. Great work, Matt. I'll try to throw together a question for the next episode.

Really enjoyed this.
I was pretty excited to see a new podcast this morning when I opened the App for my morning run. It was fun to listen to.

Re: Commish Corner 2040.1
May have to start listening to these this way as well. I've gotten into both running AND listening to podcasts lately. My favorite to listen to are the Mike Rowe "That's the Way I Heard it" ones because they're short (10-12 minutes each)
I think my attention span only allows me to keep my podcasts short. Tried a Joe Rogan one earlier this week on a run and the 2 hours was hard to keep my attention.

If you're a junky, I must be on the edge of ODing. I just checked my iTunes and I subscribe to twenty-seven regular podcasts, and that doesn't count seasonal podcasts or any of the fine BBA podcasts!

Re: Commish Corner 2040.1
I listen to the Herd's Blazing 5 Podcast on Saturdays. It's only 15 minutes. i do a pool with about 20 guys ($20 each) where we pick 5 NFL games versus the Spread and the winner takes the pot at seasons end. I use this podcast because he brings in Vegas guys to break down his picks. In other words, Im a degenerate.

Well... the hardcore history (Dan Carlin) episodes are 4+ hours long.
It's too bad he's pulled some of the older ones off his feed. There's some awesome series. Genghis Khan, the Fall of Rome... You can still get them, but he charges for those old ones (very cheap though).
There's a good series on World War I still up... it's great. 6 episodes - 4-5 hours each. He goes into great detail from beginning to end.
