Its still processing but its uploaded. We had some technical difficulties so there is a tiny but of missing audio but I was able to stitch everything together. Hopefully sounds ok.

Nice discussion.

In the Heartland, I think you're sleeping on Omaha a bit, and Chicago will be better than you think. Louisville is a player or two away, but assuming Commie Child survives his injury recovery then 2041 will be a Slugger push. Des Moines is going to be a good team by the end of the year as the kids come in. So we'll see where they end up...and I'd guess that Madison will be be better merely because Will will fix the defense.

We'll also be a different team this year than we've been in the past. Maybe better, maybe not. We'll be pretty dependent on pitching injuries (or the lack thereof). So we'll see what actually happens.

Our sights are set firmly on 75-87. We will not be denied.

The segment when you guys take a look at Vancouver's current roster and upcoming players in the next season or two (28:00)...wow! NO ONE TRADE TAYLOR PITCHING!! :) Glad I left the Frick!

That discussion also brings up whether or not Taylor should adjust the park to take advantage of all his hitters. This concept has been touched on already this off-season, but if it were me, I would keep Vancouver as a pitcher park. His offensive players can overcome the environment while his current mediocre pitching is helped. I think a change to boost his hitters would net out as an overall negative as it would crush his current pitching. To me, the key to winning baseball is run prevention. I'll take winning 5-4 (.609 Pythag) over winning 7-6 (.576 Pythag).

Fun episode...hope I can make the Johnson episode. If not, I'll be looking forward to listening.

This year will be very interesting for the team. And I agree with your idea about not adjusting the park. My offensive production will outweigh my pitching anyway, so might as well give my pitching as much help as possible. I kind of like the 35 foot wall anyway. As for your pitching demand, I would greatly appreciate if someone traded me pitching next season.
