Baseball Mumbai: Chopping Block 2039.4
SAI: Welcome, Metro Stargazers, I'm your host of Baseball Mumbai, Sai "Young" Ahuji, and with me, as always, unfortunately, is Aarav "the Umeba" Patil.
AARAV: Glad to see you're feeling better, Sai.
SAI: Yeah, I'm sure. Anyway, up first on Baseball Mumbai, we take a look at the absolute flurry of activity happening on the free agent front for our hometown club. As of this recording, our tireless GM, Shoeless, has signed a grand total of zero ballplayers. For more on this developing non-story, our top unpaid intern, Wasim Jaffer Jr., has this report:
WASIM: Thank you, Sai. My sources close to the organization describe some major frustration from GM Shoeless. Here's a secret recording made of Shoeless talking to himself in front of the mirror in the team's bathroom:
(begin audio)
SHOELESS: Pull yourself together. You can do this. Remember why you're here. You need to make a name for yourself. You can't do that if you're in here groveling in a toilet stall. You need to get out there and do this. Who cares that no agent with an even remotely talented client has even pretended to listen to our offers? Just keep making the calls. You can do this. The next call could land us that guy who puts you on the map. Damn it, Shoeless, get a grip on yourself!
(end audio)
AARAV: That's disturbing.
SAI: Wow, we agree on something. Up next on Baseball Mumbai: Are there major shake-ups on the horizon for our beloved Mumbai squad?
Aarav put something together on this, I guess. Aarav?
AARAV: Yes, thank you, Sai. I did. I spoke with several former colleagues of GM Shoeless and discovered our current ballclub does not, at all, fit with his preferred style of play or philosophy. This leaves many within the organization and clubhouse curious if their days in Mumbai are numbered.
SAI: Are trades imminent this off-season?
AARAV: Let's just say, if I were another GM in the UMEBA and liked any of the current Metro Star players, I'd be jumping on the horn with GM Shoeless without delay.
SAI: Wow, that's actually some good insight, Aarav.
AARAV: Thanks ... Wait, is that an insult or compliment?
SAI: It was a complisult. For Baseball Mumbai, this has been Sai Ahuji with Aarav Patil. We'll see you at the ballpark, Stargazers.

Unfortunately, Aarav's report was incomplete. It seems Manning and McCrain may be the only two guys I like also. But, heck, I'll take a look and see if we can't get some good ole' UMEBA trading going on.

Re: Baseball Mumbai: Chopping Block 2039.4
I decided to make my Taipei Tigers (A) a bit more age appropriate so after rooting out the 20 over 25's I put out a general call around the world for some youngsters to learn baseball while lapping up the sights & weather in Egypt. Unfortunately that seems to have gone awry as 95 turned up.
I now face a few intensive days wilting that down to 30 and which 3 or 4 of the 19 catchers do I want lol.

If any of those catchers have extremely poor personality traits, I'm obligated as the Mumbai Metro Stars to find a place for them in my organization, per the prior GM.

When the next file drops they will all be sitting on waivers so other UMEBA GM’s can sift through the wreckage
