2039-01: Talons Should Really Get Started on Writing Articles, We Guess

Phoenix, AZ--

It's the offseason, and the offseason the year after making the playoffs for the third time in four seasons. So you'd think that might garner a Team News or two, eh? Hell, only a tough extra inning loss in Game 4 of the LV series prevented the club from moving on. Seems like everyone would enjoy reading about that, huh?

And then there's the usual offseason stuff. The Talons made two rather important trades already this fall. For two hitters that have the potential of adding up to 60 home runs to Phoenix's offense next season. Could be pretty important. Not to mention, no less than three Talons have won BBA end of season awards. Oh, none of the big ones, of course. But Diamond Gloves and Platinum Sticks are nothing to sneeze at.

Another thing we are supposed to write about is the fact that a long time Talons minor league pitcher has been converted to a pitching coach and is now a member of the organizations' coaching staff. After all, the PP Reward actually requires us to write about that one. What would happen if we didn't? Would the new coach simply dissappear into nothingness??

These are weighty subjects that require Ron Collins-esque levels of analysis and circumlocution. Maybe we'll get around to it one of these days.
