2038 Landis

No Rockville ... no Jacksonville ... no California ... who would have guessed?

This should be a total shoot-out. So, what do you think?

This will be close. Mainly because my pitching will get absolutely rocked in Vegas, so you’re absolutely right that this will be a shootout. We will need to score touchdowns each inning. It’ll be fun to see the Edmonton offense in a hitters park, but they can be incredibly streaky.

Vegas’ bullpen is really good too. Edmonton mostly needs to lean on Huerta. One more thing to consider, I’ve been playing lefty/righty matchups for most of the season. Vegas really controls how successful opponents can be with this strategy. Lineups against RHP and LHP have 3 or 4 changes, assuming Matt keeps it that way. It’s worked out well for them and they’ve posted a good record against LHP this season.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this shakes out.

Edmonton is good against LHP. That's the one thing that could derail me. Good news is I can use Flores for three games if necessary. Might have to use Chartrand as a starting pitcher, also toying with scheduled bullpen games. Will be interesting.

Chris, will you be around tonight? Open to a live sim if you want to.

Flores is a beast. He’ll perform well in Edmonton.

What time are you thinking? I work pretty late tonight, but I might be able to make it.

I think Edmonton takes it. Though selfishly, I want to be the 1st 2028 expansion team to win a Landis. :D Good luck to you both.
