Way too early 2038 FRICK SAWYER SILK Candidates
With Dennis French out for the year, the race for the Frick Sawyer Silk award opens up quite a bit. Who do you think will win?

Of these guys, I'll give Collins the nod with Edmonton likely winning their division giving him the tiebreaker if it's close.

way too early for me to even think about it, but it is kind of incredible that gillstrom is even on here considering how bad he was (by his standards) the first few months.

Interesting to see the early voting so firmly behind French.

If that is any fault of my own for building him up so much a few weeks ago then I am very happy. He's a deserving candidate, with not only his bat but incredible glove. however with his injury it will be interesting to see what happens.
Apparently home runs don't matter as Morales has 0 votes lol. I wonder how many he would have if we were a winning team?

Part of Morale's issue is that he's viewed as a partial creature of his ball park, and Omaha isn't winning right now.

I changed mind to Zalapa. He's leading Valencia to a potential playoff for the first time in a long time. Plus, I'm not sure where you got his batting line from but it's incorrect. He's .297/.366/.593.
EDIT: Still think French is deserving. Injury will probably take him out of the running but he's having an incredible year.

Morales has actually been a tad better on the road this year. (Unlike last year when he had a 200 point home OPS split)
These guys are all close now that French is unlikely.
