The Stars went back to losing again after a great month in June, 17-10. July the Stars ended up 7-20 which was the worst month of the 2037 year. Amazing how the Stars went from best month to worst month of this season. With so many young players on this team it going to take allot more patience until they all develop into a better team. The upside should be good in a few years...

LF Frank Mahaffey has been very hot lately. Over the last 6 games Mahaffey has a batting average of .636 with 4 homers and won the BBA FL Player of the Week Award.Mahaffey is the last 4 games had two games where he hit 2 homers in a game. Mahaffey hits 2 home runs against the New Orleans Crawdads, going 3-4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored then a few days later Mahaffey hits 2 home runs against the Edmonton Jackrabbits, going 2-3 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Mahaffey in 2037 is hitting .293 31 homers and 76 RBI'S. 26 year old Mahaffey is having his best season with the Stars and the Stars signed Mahaffey to 3 years 25 million contract. Mahaffey was drafted in 2029 as the number 2 pick over all.

3B Kiichi Suzuki has been on a good hitting stretch. Suzuki over the last 6 games is hitting .409 3 homers to improve his 2037 stat line to .271 20 70. Suzuki best game yesterday as he hit 2 home runs against the Edmonton Jackrabbits, going 2-3 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Suzuki was drafted in round 2 in 2031 draft is having his best year so far this season. Its Suzuki 3rd season with the Stars.

Catcher Takanobu Nishikawa finally got his chance to start for the Stars as long time starter José Moleno has been in a slump most of the year. Nishikawa over the last 7 games hit .407 and smashed 5 homers. Nishikawa hit 2 home runs against the New Orleans Crawdads, going 2-3 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored and that was his best game all year. Nishikawa will keep starting for the Stars to see how he finishes the year...

I'm with you on the weird combination of frustrations and excitements of watching a young team.
