2037.13 TWC - Des Moines does it again

Post by Spiccoli » Fri Feb 01, 2019 9:47 am

Records don't matter when it comes to Twin Cities and Des Moines.

After getting back Albert Ganoa last week and with Mark Wareham / Chris Kelly ready to come back soon, the River Monsters were hoping regain momentum lost over the last 6 weeks.

After showing signs of life in 2036, Des Moines is struggling this season and vying for last place in the BBA. Once leading the Heartland Division by 6 games and the owning 2nd Best Record in the Frick League earlier this season, Twin Cities has slide to just outside the Wild Card Race, but still has high hopes to make a playoff run.

The River Monsters rolled into Des Moines, looking for a chance to start the rebound.... Twin Cities - 65 Wins / Des Moines 39 Wins

Throw that s*&t out when these two play. The Kernals just have Twin Cities' number.

1st Game - 6 DM - 4 TWC - Starting Pitcher injured in the 1st inning - Long Relief Implodes
2nd Game - 7 DM - 5 TWC - Reece Raynor shelled by the 2nd Worst Offense in the BBA - Not too surprising though
3rd Game - 6 DM - 5 TWC - Walk Off Win for the Kernals after the Bullpen gives up 4 in the 8th to blow the save.

3 Games Up - 3 Games Down & Out...

Disappointing to say the least and in the coming weeks, Twin Cities has the Top Frick league teams on the schedule... San Fernando, Edmonton, Omaha, then Madison.

After the next 2 weeks are finished, it'll be known whether the River Monsters have officially pooped in the hat for 2037.
