These votes might change if people saw Mercado's stats. He's not exactly a household name.

I know wins are wins, so it's always a controversial thing...and I love me pitcher wins for the feel of them. I'll be writing LaLoosh articles as long as I have LaLoosh...and he deserves lots of accolades. I love Cristobal Hernandez. I can go with Gracia, too. But in all seriousness, folks need to look at what Ken Walter is doing.

He is not going to win, but Feliciano Rafael has had a helluva season, especially considering he didn't even make the ASG (a horrid April doomed him there).

Yeah, it's Walter for me, too. So many innings pitched. So many strikeouts. Not giving up homers. Not walking people. Pretty much aeverything you'd ask for except run support. And he STILL has 16 wins.

I have not done the pitching spreadsheet for everyone yet (way behind), but I just did seattle and compared it historically and it was a bit surprising to me at least.

EDIT: still could possibly change in the last week, but as of right now the league leader in game score is NOT ken walter… Surprising since as mentioned he piles up the innings and Ks.
