I take a half hour or so and talk Jackrabbit baseball, the BBA, other leagues, and a few other things with GM Alvin Kaufmann. As always, much fun. Thanks go out to Alvin for putting up with a bit of a software delay!

Re: Episode 19 - GM's Corner - Edmonton 2036
I was listening to this while walking around Lowes before. No headphones either. People must have thought I was nuts.
Good listen as always. Edmonton has probably been the worst run BBA franchise over it's existence. For the first 5 years they couldn't do anything right. Then they drafted Bobby Lynch and 6-7 amazing outfielders and hoarded them in the minors while continuing to tank. That farm system was a GM's dream. They should have been going head to head with Rockville in the Landis every year around now. But then they made at least one horrific trade(Yellow Springs), signed a bunch of washed up ex-Robins infielders(Blackwell and Soto) to albatross deals, and fell asleep at the wheel and coughed up Auggie. Despite all that, the team is still in decent shape. Just not the juggernaut that everyone was expecting. I wish you the best of luck. Kind of cool that you got a Canadian team being that your from there too.

Re: Episode 19 - GM's Corner - Edmonton 2036
The BBA has been my one and only online league, so I have no idea what slack is and it sounds like a Snapchat version of the forum where stuff disappears fairly soon.
I spend too much time on some these team news for them to just get lost.
However, for GM to GM communications, the forums could be better.

The yellow springs deal is looking pretty okay for Edmonton these days.
