Rockies not putting up much of a fight.

Looks like Yankees-Red Sox was a good one today. I watched a bit of it, but of course had to switch to the Dodgers before it got really interesting.

The way the Dodgers are pitching, the Braves may not score a single run this series.

Man.. Rockies overmatched. Congrats to the Brewers

Astros #1/#2 punch of Verlander and Cole looks great.

Hopefully Charlie Morton can pick up where he left off last playoffs. He was the MVP against the Dodgers for me.

Really just hoping the Astros are eliminated ASAP. It was great for the city to get the win last season but I'm pretty fed up with their employment of racists and wife beaters.

if you think the astros are the only team that does that, then you are either sorely mistaken or naïve.

I know there not the only team. But they are the only team to employ someone who made a racist gesture that was caught on TV last year.

And they traded for Osuna despite their own "zero tolerance" policy.

So sure there not the only ones, but at the moment they're certainly one of the most blatant offenders.

I like the Astros, though. Trying to focus on the games and not the personalities as much.

The Brewers are damn good, fellas.

sorry if I offended anyone when posting while drunk and upset about the dodgers losing.

don't mean to judge anyone's rooting interests, just stating my opinion of the team.

That's ok... I just about to reply how outside of the New York Yankees, Dodger fans are among the most obnoxious and rude in Professional Sports... except when they're beating opposing fans into a coma and giving them brain damage.

But I held my tongue.

Yes, the Bryan Stow beating was a horrific incident. And the Dodgers promptly installed more lighting and added a whole lot more uniformed police officers in and around the stadium. The actions of the fan(s) that did that are not representative of (a) all dodgers fans (b) the organization. There's shitbags all over, and it's not the organizations fault.

The issue I have with Houston is that they literally ignored their "zero tolerance policy" for domestic abuse by acquiring a player currently suspended for domestic abuse.

They are not comparable issues. Actions of the fans and of the organization are not one and the same.

Craig Counsell must be a Robins fan.

The crazy part is that I took the idea from what Tampa Bay is doing. But Tampa Bay is doing it for different reasons. They are trying to lower arbitration values, limit innings without shutting their pitchers down, and avoid their bulk(real starting) pitcher from facing the top of the lineup 3 times. Last year in the Cartwright, I specifically pitched Ingo Bennaars with a one pitch limit as a decoy because I wanted to face Rockvlle's VS RHP lineup with my left handed pitchers getting majority of the work. Didn't work out too well for me. But exciting to see it happen in real life.

it boggles my mind that joe west is still fucking employed, much less umpiring in the ALCS. He is (with all apologies to angel Hernandez) the worst umpire out there today.
