Well, we got our win in the final game of this series. Despite an 2.2 inning outing of Jamaica with 6 earned runs we were able, thx to good hitting and very nice bullpen work, to win in the 15th inning! 5 hits by Bunjiro were the key in the end i think.
Oh, and i got a personal message from Jamaica that hes unhappy because hes getting not enough starts in his opinion ... he will be forced to watch the first 3 innings of this game 15 times.


Series Black Sox @ Madison 2:2
Quite happy with these two wins against the clear league leader. In game 2 Pavlik surprised with an good inning outing, game 3 was dominated by Boskie until the 8th. Too bad Boskie doesnt have more often such quality starts.
In game 1 our closer Kucharski blew his 3rd save of the season - he is aksing for a contract extension right now - basically i am willing to discuss this, i like the basic built-up of this bullpen, but hes asking for a bit too much money. Stay tuned.

Series Black Sox @ Valencia 2:1
Finally a series won again.Game one our offense wasnt hitting well, game 2 saw nice bullpen (again) work after Pavlik gave us 6 innings of a godd effort. Game three we won because the video-sessions for Jamaicahelped and the was able to produce 6.1 innings with only one earned run.

Series start Black Sox @ Washington 0:2
We are no match for their offense right now. Game 2 saw an amazing 15:19 final record, its a bit annoying that we both got 20 hits, and Washington commited two errors and we still lost by a 4 runs margin - Wayne Brady has to be blamed for that especially, 6 earned runs in 1.2 innings doesnt help. His contract will expire ... and despite good numbers in AAA i really wonder if hes worth a salary of 1,6 million, thiy ear he needs ccertainly soon some good inings in the majors to warrant that.
One more game to play against the Bobwhites, i fear their ace Starr wont give us much chance to avoid the sweep.
