2-0 with a .53 ERA and 19 K's in 17.0 IP. Just nasty.

Batter of the sim:
LF Kelly Benson
.452 AVG in 31 AB's. This guy is just a stud at the plate. No power but who cares when you can get on base like that.

7-2 sim. That's the only good news from this sim. Only managed to split a vital series with Vancouver. Really need to sweep them next time. Once again a major injury. Star CF Ryan Sittler is now out the rest of the season with torn ankle ligaments. This has just been an awful year for Cal as far as injuries go but its good to see the guys tough it out. No word yet on who will replace Sittler in CF but this is an injury that might derail this team. We may have a 5 game lead in the wildcard race but I was really counting on Sittler. He plays absolutely like a monster in CF and has an above average bat as well. He will be missed sorely.

I don't see anything in Duran's background that predicted this, he has been a great piece for you this year.
