Haven't had a lot of these choices that were difficult. However, in Gary Barr's case, it is a bit of a challenge.
The three teams in question are Greenville, Las Vegas and Valencia. I'm interested in your opinion on this. Feel free to make an argument for or against. I'm going to withhold my opinion for now.

Re: What hat should Gary Barr wear?
Close but I would say Greenville. While his best overall season was with Vegas in 93 he became a star in Greenville. 7 great seasons in a row at the beginning stages of his career. 91 thru 98 was his best stretch of seasons but it was split between Vegas and Valencia. The rest was hit or miss a bit...

I'll say Valencia. Just off the top of my head, I remember him as a Valencia Star.

Re: What hat should Gary Barr wear?
Interesting, Matt, because he was by far less successful in Valencia. While he technically played there for 7 seasons, he had fewer than 35 games in two of those seasons, and two others were pretty mediocre. He actually only played in 86 fewer games in Vegas and had a full season plus more games in Greenville.
From a strictly performance averages perspective, he was better in Vegas, but just barely. His OPS+is 135 in Vegas, 131 in Greenville and 118 in Valencia. He had 187 more hits and 56 more homers in Greenville than in Valencia.
However, he won his only BOY in Vegas and won both his rings in Vegas.
When looking at the whole picture, I would say Greenville. I'll give it another day, and if nobody has any strong objections and great arguments, I'm giving him to the Shiners.

I mean, I guess a good case could be made for Vegas as well, for the points Jason brought up.
