WAR (Wins Above Replacement) = SUM(each season WAR)
WAAS (Wins Above All-Star) = SUM(each season WAR - 2.1); career WAAS ignores negative seasons (i.e., seasons below all-star production)

Wow, very telling numbers indeed! Steve Nebraska by these metrics was almost 2X more dominant than any other player in the HOF...craziness!

WAAS calculations for all current members of the MBWBA Hall of Fame have been published. Based on last year's All-Star class, the threshold defining an "All-Star Level" season is +2.1 WAR (it was previously +2.0 WAR).
