As I look at it, I think forum voting is awesome and will help track lots of stuff.

Yup, accomplishes two things for me.
1) Saves me time
2) Forces the voters to dig into the Candidates a little bit

Both of those give me a happy feeling.

Love forum voting, but I'm not smart enough to be trusted with these decisions without assistance. I sign players because I like their names. You guys really want me deciding who goes to the hall of fame without holding my hand? Cisco Arreola, best name out of this group.

I made it global.

I like this format way better. Hall of fame voting will be a lot more fun for me in like 5 seasons when I actually know most of the players, but it's still fun to reflect on these careers.

It is a lot more fun when you know all the players, but I admit it was also fun to focus on guys I didn't know to get a better feel for the league's history--especially the VET committee guys. They pretty much never get in (mitriani was the example that proved the rule), but they are always fun to look at.

This is now done and the stickies from last year have been replaced with new ones. Includes everyone on the ballot plus a smattering of current guys and retirees who are off the ballot as well. If nothing else will give recte ideas for more veterans committee guys.

Well, for once I really enjoyed HoF voting. Great new system and thanks to those that compiled all the candidates threads, it brought them to life for someone like me who doesn't really pay a great deal of attention to other teams

This gets revealed on Thursday morning so make sure you vote!
