Please don't tell me Paul Hogan is going to get the shaft again.

I need to remind everyone of this, I guess:
Off Topic
Know how many sub 3.00 ERA relievers there's been in history (more than 460 games)? FIFTEEN.

Skip Glendenning, Victor Waller, Craig Murray, Schmidt Meyer, Jeffery Waller, Jake Barnett, Ernie Nabaro, Pedro Espin, Lionel Sanguinacco, Paul Hogan, Jonathan Sorensen, Jason Egan, Ruben Vargas, Carlos Altavista, Juan German.

That reads like a who's who of all-time relievers, with a couple of totally overlooked guys mixed in.

Are the in-process results public? I cant see them.

Also, strange that out of the 15 guys...3 of them spent most of their career in New Orleans (Waller, Altavista, German). German really surprises me. Even though he is on this prestigious list...I dont think he ever made an all star team.

Altavista and Sorensen getting robbed, too.

Still, at this point (not even half of the votes in) were looking like it might be a record class. Four slam dunks, one very likely, and another five with a reasonable chance.

Yup. He had a great career as a MR....no glory though. Gotta be a SP or CL to get recognized.

Garcia from Madison is another middle reliever who never got the glory, he barely missed the list.

I figure Glover, Swanson and Campos have to be 3 of the slam dunks. Hope this is Cochran's year.

Anyone notice that pitcher WAR calculationss in OOTPOU are messed up? They didn't show in the awards voting last year and now they are eff'd up for HOF voting. Also, the totals listed for Silk's and Nebraska's are wrong

Does it have to do with when OOTP started keeping track of 2nd/3rd place finishers? I know in StatsLab, the program (or SQL files) cannot distinguish between a winner and 2nd/3rd; so anytime a player finished in the top 3, it notes that he won the award. Could this be the same here?

Been that way for a while. We're probably switching back to a forum voting system after this year.
