1999 HOF Ballot

Post by jcrmoon42 » Wed Feb 23, 2011 5:54 pm

Hall of Fame time. A few new names on here. Nobody as dominant as last year. Should make for interesting voting. Remember as you vote that win totals have never been high in the MBBA for a pitcher's career. The league has been in existance for nearly 30 seasons, and only 10 players have as many as 200 wins. Interested to see how people handle Heath Rockefeller, a 3 time POY winner who started as a great reliever before being made a great starter before suddenly acquiring Steve Blass Disease in his mid-30s and disappearing from the game.

Ballots due to me by the end of the Championship Series. Voting is mandatory.

Rank the players in the top area from 1 to 15. ALL players must be ranked for ballot to be valid. Copy the results from the lower area in a PM to me.

I can't get the sheet to work in Google Docs. Can you make it available for download as a spreadsheet?

Thanks, Matt. Not sure what the issue was, because I didn't do anything different from last time. Didn't seem to be any problems before.

That's weird. I don't know what would have been different. As long as everybody has access now, it's cool.

Voting has been all over the place so far with such an open ballot. One player has two votes in the top two and three votes in the bottom two. The player leading the balloting also has an 11th and 12th place vote. One player was put in the bottom two by five voters and in the top five by the other four voters.

Every vote is going to count this year! Get 'em in!
