2013 Hall of Fame Ballot
This completely slipped my mind this year! So sorry, Fellas!
Three really good players new to the ballot this year. By the way, if you ever feel like someone is being snubbed for the ballot, please feel free to send me a note and make an argument for their inclusion. There are quite a few really good players who aren't on this ballot due to my judgment. I try to determine who will actually get votes, and that can leave some people out.
Recte can decide when he wants these due by and whether or not there will be a penalty for not voting due to the lateness.
Cheatsheet Here
Ballots received from:
Long Beach
Birmingham
New Orleans
California
Montreal
Des Moines
Marquette
Hawaii
Valencia
Las Vegas
Buffalo
Vancouver
Madison
Carolina
Louisville
Atlantic City
Calgary
Washington
Omaha
Still awaiting ballots from:
Baltimore
Greenville
Chicago
Phoenix
Seattle

I had a similar problem. I had to log into my google account, and then export it to excel.

To input information into the spreadsheet, you have to do this. You should be able to view it from the site, however.JimBob2232 wrote:I had a similar problem. I had to log into my google account, and then export it to excel.

Re: 2013 Hall of Fame Ballot
Through the first six ballots, voting is all over the place with three players getting first place votes and five players getting last place votes. One player has received three second place votes and a last place vote.

That's weird. I know people used to have an issue with Google Docs, but it has been a while. Seems to be working for others.aaronweiner wrote:This is still loading 95% of the way and not finishing. (Yes, I know, twss.)
Re: 2013 Hall of Fame Ballot
Nor for me. And my internet connection is often slooooooow.
Well, after voting for DJ and Lasalle, or was it the other way around, I placed Luna last, the new guys in the slots above last, and otherwise pretty much ranked the others in the same order as last year (so I don't have to think to hard about it), with McKinley Washington toward the top, above Dever and Franco. Hey, if I get to vote, then I will vote for who I want in, not necessarily who "should" be in. In fact I always find this HOF vote a pain in the ass and wish it weren't mandatory. And I thought, hey, why doesn't Jason just pick the HOFers.

Two words for you guys.
Jeremy. Hunter. If that bum from Vegas is in the hall, this guy should be.

Re: 2013 Hall of Fame Ballot
I can understand why some would feel that way. The majority feedback I get is that people enjoy it. As for it being mandatory, I can't speak to that and have no opinion on it anyway. In my mind, it happens every two to three months and takes five minutes. How big a PITA can it be?Al-Hoot wrote: In fact I always find this HOF vote a pain in the ass and wish it weren't mandatory. As far as me selecting them, if something of that sort were ever done, I'd pass it off to someone else. I don't need the hassle it would cause me!
