Good job boys! Sorry I couldn’t make it first time in a long time….you started to talk Madison baseball and my extreme man-crushes on all my players….but u got distracted before you dove in.
This is always what I picture when you turds start the Heartland chant.

Funny hearing the "breaking news" of my deal for Warren Moore, etc. My feeling is that I have enough hitting that, if it can all click and I get enough of my #3/#4 starters to peak at once, I'll have a chance to upset someone in the postseason. I see my squad as a bit of a 1-hit wonder team, like the 1993 Phillies.
And, man, I had no idea that we couldn't retain further salary on players who already have retained salary. In my other league, a few of us live for those sort of "money-laundering" deals, where an aging, high-priced player's contract gets whittled down 10% per trade.

We used to be able to do that, but some bad deals ruined us on that. Hell when I came into the league 20 seasons ago we couldn't even retain at all.

Finished it. I just brought up Dawson, actually, but who was he supposed to really replace in my rotation? I could have wasted his time in the bullpen, but not fair to my other starters who have (generally) been great.
