Wow, I love that.

I like the idea of tracking saves+holds: it would reflect modern BBA bullpen usage more accurately than saves alone.

Of course Nate Silver’s Goose Egg would be better, still, but that would require heavier lifting to calculate.

The closest we have to the Goose egg/Broken egg is SD/MD in stats+. It isn't as good as the Goose egg.

It appears you guys had way too much confidence in the Blazers but we'll see you again next post season

What's a good name for saves + holds? Shoves? Shaves? Sholds? Savhols? Total Clutch Pitching?

1994 the league leaguer was 39

Since some of us are “playoff adverse” . I’ll look at putting something together to for saves + holds.

Also Shimizu needed to go 2/3 to reach .400 for season. Sadly he went 0-3.
