The BBA Today #80 - Who Needs Sleep?

Post by Ted » Sun Jan 17, 2021 5:04 pm

Ron Collins and Ted Schmidt discuss the impending trade deadline and which teams might be buyers. Montreal has surprisingly made a race out of the Atlantic. Cesar Feliciana proves that Ted can't draft hitters, and Phoenix has some bats we should talk about. Throughout the podcast, a game Ron drags an exhausted Ted to topic after topic, who stayed up way too late playing video games the night before like a mature adult.

Feliciana has definitely been frustrating for me. He actually has lost some contact VRHP since he was sent down. He was at 9 and now is at 8.

The Blazers know they are playing over their head this entire season but we are enjoying int.
Montreal Blazers(BBA) 2044~2047(353-295, .545 W%)
2045 Wildcard(lost in one round)
2046 Atlantic Champs(lost in one round)

I always enjoy the snark at the end of "why are people still listening to us".

A couple of interesting bits of data on the two Phoenix players we chatted about:

Within the concept of randomness, Hernández's BABIP has appeared to be growing:

2045 Phoenix - BBA24105423128361350.3030.365

Also, the impact of Dashielle Fairborne at shortstop has been huge this year. Here is the Phoenix PAA measures for each GB zone. Note, too, the impact of playing a 4 Range at 2B...
