Ron, I had the exact same thought as you after reading Ted's great feature...it was right out of a Baseball Abstract. Hell, if it was done in a typewriter font and aged to look like it came out of a mimeograph, it might have been a spot-on homage.
Nice article, Ted...really fun read.

Thanks. It probably doesn't mean much, but it was a lot of fun to think about.jleddy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 2:54 pmRon, I had the exact same thought as you after reading Ted's great feature...it was right out of a Baseball Abstract. Sacramento in 2045 is probably experiencing global warming and/or spring time wildfires that is effecting the temps.

You guys were talking about having more data for the balance piece. I do have both runs scored and runs allowed for every individual team season since 1995 (at least i will once i get the 2044 data inputted), if that would be of assistance... It is sorted by team and year (although does NOT take park factors into account). Also have listed whether that team made the playoffs, made the landis, or won the landis.

There's no way I'm sorting through that. I appreciate the offer, but i'd makes so many mistakes doing it by hand that it's an unrealistic task.usnspecialist wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 3:06 amYou guys were talking about having more data for the balance piece.
