BTW, seriously, anyone know why Willis Roberts has been SUCH shit in his career?
I would say it could be a few things. The contact and avk combo is not great. 2041 was probably a sophomore slump, and then maybe small sample size weirdness for '42 and '43. With 9 power v RHP, it's definitely weird that he hit only 2HR in 174 PA in '42.

It also looks like he's spent significant time coming off the bench. No idea if OOTP has a PH modifier to reflect the real life pinch hit penalty, but that could be it too.
So you think he's like the reverse Danny Leach?

Roberts is a vacuous hole against LHP.

Yes, I got slightly outbid on all my first choices for signings so as the pool started to dwindle I had to overpay a little to make sure I could get something. Reyes and White will be platooning and Sanchez will start at 3B against lefties (with Menne starting vs RHPs) and will be the defensive sub as well. Missed out on a couple of Pitchers I was hoping to get, just missing out each time as well. I'm happy though - didnt kill my financials at all (still have 30M in cap space) but I think I improved my team and there arent any deals that will kill the future. I'm good with the B-.

Does the Stone addition change the grade (for better or worse) at all?

Great podcast, as usual guys!!

You should do a podcast on a random topic of your choosing each week. The BBA's own version of a "Ted Talk".

Listened to 2x already. (of course the first time I skipped right to Madison's review) ;)

I've thought about this, but I prefer banter to monologue. I get boring awfully quickly, or at least very dry.
