Today I get the pleasure of sitting down to a conversation with Vancouver GM Taylor Bettencourt who has now been with the team for seven, going on eight seasons! Along the way we talk a little about where he comes from, how the lock down has or hasn't affected him, and what his thoughts are about the Mounties as they go forward, some observances of things around the league, and ... well ... his ever-important goal of beating Portland.

Great listen...I liked what Tyler did going into 2043 after last year's surprising step-back.
Best part was finding out Taylor will be moving to Long Beach, giving the league FOUR (!) GMs in the city (or neighboring parts). The film program at Long Beach State churned out the likes of Spielberg, cinematographer Masanobu Takayanagi and sound editor Karen Landers, plus three-and-a-half wild years for two years worth of credit from yours truly.
Let me know when you watch a Dirtbags game at Blair Field, @StormZ_23!

Also, Tyler brought up one change he'd like to see in OOTP is the ability to see FA classes beyond the upcoming season. It's not prefect, but from the Sortable Stats page, you can add "Years Left" under Misc. to your dashboard to sort/filter players. Arb players are all lumped together but it's a decent start to parse thru the player pool.

Great podcast Ron and Taylor. Taylor sounds like a really cool dude, and hopefully he enjoys his time in Long Beach.
