The BBA Today #27 - Why Not the Tropics?

Post by RonCo » Mon May 11, 2020 3:06 pm

We're heading into the home stretch of the 2042 season, and the Pacific division seems to be down to California and Hawaii. Join me for a brief chat about the Tropics and their chances at unseating the Crusaders in the last 30 games ... and maybe for a fashion call, too.

I'm going to be breaking more than a clock if Hawaii catches me this season...

One of my favorite front office personalities...fun listen!

Loved the intro (wow!) and James going out swinging with a salvo to California. Can't wait to see the new unis in '43!

The intros to these things have been a lot of fun to come up with. Getting close to the end of the game. Time to find a new game to use. :)

I pulled a "random" nondescript game from the Internet archive: https://archive.org/ and have been slowly listening to the whole thing to find bits I can use. I do edit a little to take names out wherever practical, since I want it to feel old-timey BBA rather than MLB. But it's been fun listening to the names, too.

And, yes, the commercials are ... um ... interesting. :)
