GM's Corner - Episode 29 - Charlotte
Ron Collins sits down with Charlotte GM Brett Golden to talk about what it's like to step into the league and then take on an expansion team. Hear Brett discuss his approach toward trading, talk about his recent bid trade with Vancouver, and maybe even reveal a tiny bit about the Plan (TM)

I think I've overvalued stamina to a degree and may look to alter that in The Great Wheel™...that was a great topic to touch on, thanks guys! Also it had escaped my memory if I had known that Brett was in the Marines and worked in the Navy. Thanks for your service!

ya brett was one of the civilians I worked with at my last station, which is how he got into the league (haven't listened to the pod yet so not sure if that is mentioned).jleddy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:46 pmI think I've overvalued stamina to a degree and may look to alter that in The Great Wheel™...that was a great topic to touch on, thanks guys! Another awesome connection between GMs in the league!usnspecialist wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 11:11 pmya brett was one of the civilians I worked with at my last station, which is how he got into the league (haven't listened to the pod yet so not sure if that is mentioned).jleddy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:46 pmI think I've overvalued stamina to a degree and may look to alter that in The Great Wheel™...that was a great topic to touch on, thanks guys! This was a great listen. So many good nuggets to consider as I move forward in California. The financial part of the game will be my downfall due to being gifted my budget surplus by my rich uncle, Ted.
Also, thanks for your service to the country, Brett.

Agreed with it being a terrific listen. Especially for someone like me who is just starting out with OOTP. So the insight was valuable with learning about pitcher's stamina and budgets and cash and how to navigate all of that.
